Duo injuries to be scanned

Kilkenny pair Henry Shefflin and Brian Hogan are to undergo scans to determine the extent of the injuries they sustained in Sunday's All-Ireland SHC semi-final win over Cork.

Skipper Hogan damaged a shoulder, while ace attacker Shefflin suffered a knee injury, and both are anxious to discover whether they have a chance of playing in next month's decider.

Both players were forced off in the first half of last Sunday's All-Ireland semi-final win over Cork amid fears that they had suffered recurrences of old injuries.
