Horan set for Limerick job

Mayo native Maurice Horan is set to become the new Limerick senior football manager.

The Football Board executive have decided to propose him for ratification as the man to succeed Mickey Ned O'Sullivan.

Horan served as selector this season under O'Sullivan. He was also Limerick Under-21 boss this year and will combine that role in 2011.

He played inter-county football for both Mayo and Limerick, making his senior debut for the Connacht side in 2003 before work commitments saw him move to Limerick.
