Kelly expected to play semi-final

Tipperary attacker Eoin Kelly is expected to be fit for the All-Ireland SHC semi-final against Waterford on Sunday, despite suffering a slight recurrence of a back injury.

Kelly has been plagued by the problem for the past two seasons, and was forced to take severe painkilling injections to get through last year's championship.

This year, however, he has not been troubled by the injury, until now, and he may require another injection to get him through Sunday's Croke Park clash with the Decies.

Manager Liam Sheedy is planning for the rest of the season without Pat Kerwick, who requires groin surgery.
