Kilmacud secure Leinster title

Kilmacud Crokes came good in the second half to win the Leinster Club Football Championship title with a 0-15 to 1-7 win over Rhode at Portlaoise.

The Offaly champions led by 1-5 to 0-7 at half-time, thanks to a Pascal Kellaghan goal, and two points each from Niall Doherty and Niall McNamee.

But the Dublin men never lost their composure, and took the lead with scores from Declan Kelleher, Mark Vaughan and Brian Kavanagh.

Rhode saw the game slip away from them when McNamee had a penalty saved by David Nestor, and Alan McNamee was sent off on a second yellow card.
