Ladies of Donaghmoyne and Termon back in final

The line-ups for this year's Ulster ladies club championship finals were decided over the weekend.

All-Ireland senior holders Donaghmoyne defeated St Paul's from Antrim but the St Paul's girls battled well against the competition favourites.

A Niamh Callan goal set them on their way and they harvested scores from various sources in the process of securing a berth in next Sunday's final in Clones.

That senior title decider at St Tiernach's Park will see Donaghmoyne tackle Termon of Donegal in a repeat of a recent final between the two teams.

Termon made it through but only just against Armagh champions Carickruppen by a single score following an excellent tussle. Geraldine McLoughlin got among the score suppliers for Termon who will be relishing another chance to take on Donaghmoyne.

Sunday's intermediate final features Milford (Donegal) and Glen (Derry) after well-earned semi-final successes, Amber Barrett claiming the scoreboard headline of the day with her 4-8 for Milford in a good game away to Tyrone winners Cappagh.

Aghyaran St Davog's are through to the Ulster junior final next Saturday where they play Shane O'Neill's from Armagh.
