Limerick secure title

Limerick laid on a devastating display of attacking football in the second half to take the TG4 All-Ireland Junior Ladies football title at Croke Park with a 4-10 to 3-8 win over Louth.

Trailing by six points at the break, they turned on the power to smash Louth's challenge.

Two Anne-Marie Murphy goals, one from a penalty, and a third from Kate Flood, helped Louth open up a 3-4 to 1-4 interval lead, with Marie Claire Curtin hitting Limerick's goal, direct from a free.

Limerick staged a battling fightback in the second half with goals from Clodagh Reidy and a second from Curtin, before O'Brien finished the job with their fourth.
