McLoone out for season

Donegal star Leo McLoone will miss the remainder of the National Football League after breaking his leg in a club game.

McLoone was playing for his club, Naomh Conail, with which he won a county championship medal last season, when the incident occurred.

A member of last year's Ulster U21 Championship winning Donegal side, McLoone had been in excellent form for the senior side in the NFL.

He is due ot undergo surgery, and faces a race against time to be fit for the county's Ulster Championship opener against Antrim.
