Munster final falls to weather

The Munster Club SFC final is the latest victim of the arctic weather conditions gripping Ireland.

The title decider between Cork champions Nemo Rangers and Dr Crokes of Kerry had been due to take place at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick on Sunday, with Mallow standing by as a back-up venue.

But following pitch inspections, provincial council chiefs have abandoned plans to stage the game at either venue.

It has been re-arranged for Sunday December 12, at the Gaelic Grounds.
