O'Loughlin claim Leinster title

O'Loughlin Gaels of Kilkenny staged a late flourish to win their second Leinster Club Hurling title with a 0-14 to 1-8 win over Oulart-The Ballagh of Wexford.

Rory Jacob grabbed a goal for Oulart after just five minutes, but the accuracy of Mark Bergin from frees kept Gaels in close contention.

He converted four, and his side trailed by just a point, 1-4 to 0-6, at the break, after Jacob had drilled a penalty wide in stoppage time.

It wasn't until the final minute that Gaels went in front for the first time with Bergin's sixth point, and late scores from Seanie Cummins and Brian Dowling sealed an All-Ireland semi-final slot against Ulster champions Loughgiel.
