Rogers not fit to start semi

Down captain Ambrose Rogers will not start Sunday's All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Kildare, after failing to recover from a knee injury.

His place at midfield goes to Peter Fitzpatrick, but Rogers has been named among the subs and is likely to play a part at some stage.

The switch is the only change from the side that shocked Kerry in the All-Ireland quarter-final.

Manager James McCartan has resisted the temptation to move Dan Gordon from full-back to midfield.
