Darcy set to make a big point as Tattyreagh eye place in decider

By John Campbell

Tattyreagh marksman James Darcy faces into a big challenge when his side meet Naomh Colmcille (Donegal) in the Ulster Club Junior Football Championship semi-final at Celtic Park, Derry tomorrow (2.30pm).

Darcy has been chalking up impressive scores in his team's triumphant surge to date this year but tomorrow he will come up against a Naomh Colmcille defence that is generally unyielding. In the other junior semi-final, Belnaleck will take on Derry outfit Doire Trasna at Clones (12.15pm).

Meanwhile, in the quarter-finals of the Paul McGirr Memorial Tournament at Gardrum Park, Dromore, Derrygonnelly will meet Ghaoth Daobhair today (12.00pm) with Carrickmore and Cavan side Lough Oughter Gaels crossing swords at 2.15pm.

The last of the quarter-finals will take place tomorrow when Crossmaglen take on Antrim representatives St Brigid's (2.00pm).
