Wexford search for selector

Wexford football manager Jason Ryan is looking for a new selector following Pat Barden's decision to step down.

Barden has opted out of the backroom team for personal reasons. But fellow selectors Ger Foxe and Diarmuid O'Hanlon have agreed to continue for a fourth year.

Meanwhile, former Kildare star Anthony Rainbow is to have a testimonial in Newbridge on Saturday, following his decision to retire after 20 years with the Lilywhites.

Some of the game's household names have agreed to play in the event, which will raise funds for St John of God intellectual disability services in Celbridge, St Brigid's Hospice on The Curragh and the Kildare players' training fund.
