Welcome to our live blog from some featured groups on day two of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open at Portstewart Golf Club.

Defending champion and tournament host Rory McIlroy missed the cut on Friday, along with Darren Clarke and Graeme McDowell. He followed his opening round of 72 with a score of 73 on day two to finish the tournament at +1 over par.

"The most disappointing thing for me is not being here for the weekend," he said afterwards. "It's an important tournament to me and one that I want to play well in.

"It's the simple things I haven't been doing well. Golf becomes so much easier when you do the simple things well."

Graeme McDowell finished his tournament at -2, following his opening round of 67 with a disappointing score of 75 after two double bogeys.

Paul Dunne backed up an opening round score of 67 with a second round of 69 to finish -8 under par.

Leaders Benjamin Hebert of France and Daniel Im of the USA are going into the weekend on -13, one shot ahead of Spanish golfer Jon Rahm.
