Mehaffey and Wilson help Irish ladies win world amateur bronze
Leona Maguire, Olivia Mehaffey and Annabel Wilson secured a bronze medal for Ireland in the World Amateur Team Championships in Mexico.
The Irish trio finished the four-round event on a combined seven under - the best two scores on each day counted towards the team's tally.
Tandragee teenager Mehaffey hit a four-under 68 in the final round, while Maguire carded a 69.
South Korea won on 29 under with Switzerland second on eight under.
Cavan's Maguire was tied sixth in the overall individual standings on six under, while Mehaffey, on level, was joint 15th.
Lurgan player Wilson was 17 over in Playa del Carmen to end in a tie for 70th.
Meanwhile, home favourite Francesco Molinari held off the challenge of Masters champion Danny Willett - in his final competitive round before the Ryder Cup - to win a second and weather-hit Italian Open in Monza with a score of 22 under.
