Paul Dunne described as 'created to rule the world' by altered Wikipedia entry

By Jenny Kirkham

Amatuer golfer Paul Dunne tops the leader board on the final day of The Open after a fantastic display over the weekend.

The Greystones golfer shot a 66 in the third round at St Andrews to put him on -12 overall, and with his name trending on Twitter, someone saw fit to create a Paul Dunne Wikipedia page.

Not long after the Wikipedia entry was published was it altered by cheeky pranksters for comic effect.

The alteration to the page suggests that Dunne is "not a human, but a golfing machine created to rule the golfing world."
