It was a soaking wet final day of practice at Royal Portrush ahead of The Open Championship.

With heavy rain pelting down for much of Wednesday, the 30,000 spectators were frustrated with Rory McIlroy taking part in just a short morning range session and Tiger Woods absent for much of the day.

It all changed in a quick flurry of action mid-afternoon, when McIlroy appeared on the course, as did Graeme McDowell, while Woods was hitting balls on the range at the same time.

In the interview room, McIlroy and McDowell were both in good form, while Irish Open champion Jon Rahm also faced the media.
