Watch: Short game tips with PGA professional Zoe Allen ahead of The Open Championship

Does all this talk about The Open make you want to get out onto the course yourself?

If you're newly inspired to take up the game or are looking to dust off the clubs that have been cast into a corner in the garage, the first thing you'll want to practice is your short-game.

Tiger Woods is one of the top level players who says it was by no mistake that he learnt how to play the game from the green back to the tee.

The area are the putting surface is where most of your shots are played and where, crucially, the top players are at their very best.

We went to Lurgan Golf Club to ask PGA Professional Zoe Allen for some quick tips to get you started on the right path.

Zoe will be one of the PGA Pros giving free 15-minute coaching sessions at next week's Open Championship as part of the R&A's Swing Zone at in the tented village at Royal Portrush.
