Watch: Rory McIlroy gets in some snowy practice at Belfast club

There's a reason the best players in the world are where they are. Well there ae several, but a significant one is hard work.

Rory McIlroy has never been one to shy away from that and proved it again on Tuesday when even the snow and chilly temperatures didn't keep him off the course.

He's preparing for his comeback from a rib injury, which he has scheduled for the Abu Dhabi Championship from January 18 to January 21.

There is no time to waste then to make sure his game is up to scratch. Watching him do that was Michael McGivern, the club professional at Belvoir Golf Club, where Rory got in some winter practice.

And there's even a video of Rory's smooth swing. Looking good.

McIlroy announced last week that we would keep best friend Harry Diamond as his caddie for the start of the 2018 season as he plans to play eight events before the Masters, the first major of the year and the only one that McIlroy has yet to win.
