Great Britain recall five players

Great Britain have recalled five players to the squad for their training camp and international double-header against Poland ahead of the World Championships in Croatia next month.

Stephen Murphy, Jonathan Weaver, Robert Dowd, Robert Farmer and Matt Haywood return having missed the Olympic qualification tournament in Italy through injury.

Coach Peter Russell will then reduce the squad to 23 players, who will travel to Zagreb for Division 1B games against hosts Croatia, Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania and Romania.

Russell, who has also appointed Coventry Blaze head coach Chuck Weber to the coaching staff, said: " This group has a mix of talent, age and experience.

"To be honest, there are going to be some very tough decisions for our final 23. This competition will only make our team stronger and raise the levels even higher of every player each day at camp."
