Great Britain thrash Estonia in Belfast to earn back-to-back wins
Great Britain registered a second successive win in their World Championship Division One Group B campaign by beating Estonia 5-1 at Belfast's SSE Arena.
After beginning the tournament with a 4-2 victory over Croatia, GB joined Lithuania and Japan in winning their first two matches.
Mark Garside, who has spent the past seven seasons playing with Belfast Giants, put GB ahead at 4.38 with David Phillips adding a second at 19.19.
Estonia reduced the deficit with a powerplay marker from Roman Andrejev at 29.20 but three goals inside the first five minutes of the final period saw GB take control.
Liam Stewart, with his first international goal, made it 3-1 at 41.16, David Clarke notched a fourth at 44.04, with Evan Mosey adding another 26 seconds later.
GB are back in action on Wednesday against Lithuania before playing Holland on Friday and Japan the following day.
