Ex-Apprentice star Jim Eastwood to offer his insight at Ulster Hockey Club

DO you remember Jim Eastwood? He was one of the finalists in the seventh series of The Apprentice, and it just so happens that he'll be the keynote speaker at Ulster Hockey's Club and Coaching conference being staged at Mossley Mill on Sunday March 9.

Jim will be talking about how his vast experience in business can be used to help sports clubs prosper. Indeed, that theme runs right through, with the Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action taking a workshop on what funding is available, what funders are looking for and the best practice on applying for funding such as Awards For Sport.

Club Leaders NI – through a partnership between Price Waterhouse Coopers and Sport Northern Ireland – are also delivering two workshops, one on cash flow and the other on budgeting vital to running your club.

The conference is open to anyone involved in club hockey at a cost of just £10. For further information, look at the Ulster Hockey website or contact 02890 701417.
