Anderson Cup holders Kilkeel will begin the defence of their trophy with a two-legged first round tie against Kirk Cup finalists Annadale.

The draw included Ulster's four Irish Hockey League clubs as well as the top eight teams in the Ulster Premier League.

Last season, Kilkeel beat Mossley in the decider on penalty runs, with Mark Stevenson the hero, but they've been handed a tough draw this time - not only have they to face IHL club Annadale, but if they were to progress, then current IHL leaders and newly crowned Kirk Cup winners Banbridge await them.

Meanwhile, Shirley McCay's younger sister Lynsey will be hoping to make it an unprecedented family double tomorrow when she captains Omagh in their Senior Cup final clash with Raphoe at Stormont (2pm).

On Boxing Day, World Cup silver medallist Shirley lifted her first piece of silverware with Pegasus when they defeated Belfast Harlequins on penalty runs in the Denman Ulster Shield final.

Ireland's most-capped sportswoman began her career with Omagh and now her sister will be bidding to add another medal to the family collection.

Anderson Cup 1st round (first legs January 12, 2nd legs week commencing January 14): Annadale v Kilkeel; Instonians v Mossley; Premier 8 v Cookstown; Lisnagarvey v South Antrim.

2nd round: North Down v Instonians or Mossley; Bangor v Lisnagarvey or South Antrim; Banbridge v Annadale or Kilkeel; Premier 8 or Cookstown v Newry Olympic
