Saturday evening's Elite League clash between the Belfast Giants and Milton Keynes Lightning has been called off.

Milton Keynes transportation to Belfast was cancelled on Saturday afternoon due to the ongoing severe weather hitting the UK.

No other means of transportation was available to get the team to Belfast in time for the 7pm face-off.

The game will be rescheduled, with the new date announced in due course.

Fans have been asked to hold onto their game tickets, as they can use these for the rescheduled game.

It is also advised these tickets can be exchanged for any Giants home game this season.
