Dickson handed new Giants deal
Adam Keefe has moved to ensure that the Belfast Giants will continue to have a Northern Ireland identity in the locker room by handing Andrew Dickson a contract for an eighth successive season with the club.
The Ballymoney-born goaltender will once again play an important role by providing back-up to Stephen Murphy and new signing Tyler Beskorowany.
Great Britain international Matt Towe will also wear a Giants jersey again next season, his third in a row after a previous single season spell in 2012-13.
Although game time has always been limited Dickson has always proved a reliable deputy.
The 30-year-old is also a hugely popular figure with Giants fans, who love to see one of their own on the ice.
