The Belfast Giants produced a thrilling third-period display to blitz the Nottingham Panthers and move two points close to the Cardiff Devils at the top of the Elite League table.
Trailing 1-0 as the game entered its final 20 minutes, the Giants hit FIVE goals in a fantastic comeback with David Rutherford, Mike Radja, Craig Peacock, Colin Shields and Mike Forney all scoring.
They are now seven points behind Cardiff with seven games to go and a match in hand.
Nottingham were much the better team in the opening period - which was reflected the shot-count which read 17-8 in their favour - and it was no surprise when Juraj Kolnik scored at 16:28.
The Giants were much improved in the second period but even a fight between captain Adam Keefe and Panthers' Cam Janssen couldn't turn the momentum.
The third period was 20 minutes of almost total Giants domination.
Rutherford struck the equaliser at 42:11 to give the Giants a glimmer of hope and they were really on he front foot when Radja got the go-ahead goal at 45:29.
It was still anyone's game at that stage, but the Giants really put the foot on the gas when Peacock scored the third at 55:45.
Colin Shields netted the fourth three minutes later to effectively win the game and Forney made it a high five with 25 seconds left on the clock.
