The Belfast Giants have confirmed a new date for their postponed Elite League clash with Milton Keynes Lightning.

Last weekend's adverse weather conditions, which affected the whole of the UK, caused the cancellation of the flight that was due to bring the Lightning from Birmingham to Belfast on Saturday morning.

Further flights were fully booked, meaning they were unable to journey across the Irish Sea, leaving the Elite League with no options other than to postpone the game.

The clubs have now agreed on a rearranged date and Milton Keynes will visit to the SSE Arena on Wednesday, March 21.

Tickets for the original game will be valid for the rearranged fixture - which will be the Giants' penultimate home league match of the season - but anyone unable to attend can exchange a ticket for any remaining home fixture.
