Glenn Irwin suffers 'possible fracture' in British Superbikes practice crash

Carrickfergus rider Glenn Irwin has suffered an arm injury during British Superbikes practice in Scotland.

The 27 year-old was racing on the Knockhill circuit when he came off at turn six on Friday, suffering a "possible fracture/dislocation of elbow and shoulder", according to the @OfficialBSB Twitter account.

Irwin, of course, won the feature Superbike race at the North West 200 last month, his first victory at the event. Winning 'the big one' was the fulfilment of a lifelong dream for the boyhood bike fan.
