Guy Martin to take part in Tandragee 100
Guy Martin is set to compete in the Tandragee 100 this year.
Martin, who has become a major star through his television work will compete in the Classic and Forgotten Era races on his 750cc BSA.
His first competitive appearance since 2015 was his debut for Honda at the Tandragee 100 on April 22 last year.
During the first lap of the Open Superbike race, Martin was involved in a collision with another rider.
Though both were unhurt, Martin retired from the race.
A spokesperson for the North Armagh Motorcycle & Car Club Ltd confirmed he would be returning to the event.
“Guy will compete in both the Classic Race and the Forgotten Era Class on board his 750cc BSA machine," the spokesperson said.
“Guy appeared last year at Tandragee and also in 2005, where he finished third and fifth in the Superbike races and fourth in the 600cc event in the Uel Duncan Racing colours.
“We certainly hope that Guy loves this fast and technical course, but most of all, that he enjoys himself this year at the Around a Pound Tandragee 100 National Motorcycle Road Races.”
