North West 200: Something special for fans of road racing

Formula One-style hospitality facilities will grace the start/finish area of this year’s Relentless International North West 200.

An innovative ‘Giant Expo 2’ glass fronted structure, which has also featured at the Le Mans 24-hour race and Moto GP circuits, will be located adjacent to the traditional hospitality marquee.

The two-storey facility extends over 140 square metres and has heating and air conditioning as well as luxury toilets. Guests will be able to move easily between both marquee zones.

The main marquee and the new ‘Giant Expo’ will also feature soft seating areas, tall tables, bar stools and an outdoor decked area.

“We’re aiming to give fans and visitors the best seat in the house at this year’s North West,” says technical director Mervyn Whyte.

“Our 2011 hospitality package will put VIP guests in pole position, helping them experience the sights, sounds and tastes of this unique sporting event.

“This year our food offering will feature both Asian style dishes and traditional cuisine — but with a modern twist.”

The guest package will also include entertainment from local musicians and race day guest MC will be high-profile sports journalist Adrian Logan partnered by BSB commentator and pundit Larry Carter.

Guests will get to meet and hear from star riders and team officials and can also watch the action close-up on large screens inside the hospitality area.

VIP hospitality tickets cost £160 per person and in addition to food, drinks and entertainment include a race programme and paddock pass. For more information or reservations contact or, tel 028 90727906.
