Miss North West 200 crown goes to Portrush girl Chloe

By Cate McCurry

Newly-crowned Miss North West 200, Chloe McMaster, is certainly no stranger to the racing scene.

The 19-year-old from Portrush, who won the competition on Tuesday night, has been attending the North West 200 event since she was a toddler.

The brunette, who was the judges' first choice at a packed event in her home town, comes from a family of racing fanatics. As part of her duties she will meet and greet the riders as well as having a coveted access all areas pass.

Chloe said: "The race is all very familiar to me. My granddad and stepdad are both fire marshals, so I've been going to the NW200 since I was very young. I'm really looking forward to the weekend and so happy that I'll be in the Paddock and will have access all areas and will have a chance to meet everyone."
