Friday's headline race at the Isle of Man TT has been brought forward after a weather warning was issued.

The Senior TT had been due to take place at lunch-time but on Wednesday was moved to 10.30am. Now the race will take place at 10am on Friday morning after a yellow weather warning for heavy rain was issued for the island, lasting from 12 noon.

The revised schedule means the Mountain Road will close as early as 7.45am with all roads around the course closed at 9.30am.

Peter Hickman will be the fancied favourite to retain the title he won last year and make it FOUR race victories at this year's festival.

Hickman, of course, came out on top in Monday's Superbike race which was red flagged after the fatal crash involving Daley Mathison.

He went out to edge past Dean Harrison in Thursday's Supersport race and then made easy work of the Superstock outing, finishing over 26 seconds clear of second placed Harrison.
