Northern Ireland Open: Mark Allen crashes out to Tian Pengfei

Mark Allen crashed out of the Northern Ireland Open after a 4-3 defeat to China's Tian Pengfei.

The Antrim man took the opening frame of the game before Pengfei hit back in the second with an unanswered break of 73.

The two traded frames in the best of seven competition before Pengfei took control.

In the sixth, two breaks of 50 and 51 saw the 30-year-old secure the frame with Allen only potting a solitary red. An impressive 109 break saw Pengfei take the win and a place in the third round were he will meet Thailand's Noppon Saengkham.
