Badminton: Ulster's Magee and Dolan net doubles crown

Ulster's Sam Magee from Raphoe Badminton Club and Sligo's Jonathan Dolan were the outstanding Irish players in the 23 nation Irish Future Series Tournament in Dublin, winning the men's doubles title by beating Kek Jamnih and Alen Roj of Slovenia convincingly 21-12 21-9 in yesterday's final.

The next best Irish pair were Alannah Stephenson and Keady Smith from Lisburn's Alpha club who reached the semi-finals of the women's doubles losing 21-17 21-6 to the eventual winners, Louise Hanson and Louise Seiersen of Denmark.

Joshua Magee from Raphoe reached the quarter-finals of the men's singles where the title went to Kian Andersen of Denmark and Raphoe's Rachael Darragh reached the quarter-finals of the women's singles with the title going to Delphine Lansac of France.
