Jason Smyth takes second gold at Para Athletics World Championships in London


Jason Smyth has won gold in the T13 final at the Para Athletics World Championships at London Stadium.

The Derry man already claimed gold in the 100m event on Sunday night.

Smyth, who is visually-impaired, crossed the finish line on Tuesday night in 21.40 seconds.

The win is his seventh World Championship gold medal.

The 30-year-old has been unbeaten at Paralympic level since beginning his international career at the age of 18 in the 2005 European Championships.
