Neal McCotter expects his Star men to cut down Eagles

Belfast Star coach Neal McCotter has demanded that his players raise their game and record their first win of the All Ireland Premier League tonight.

McCotter has been left frustrated by the opening two matches in which Star held the advantage before allowing victory to slip through their hands in the final quarter.

This evening they are aware to UL Eagles in Limerick and McCotter insists they are more than capable of bringing their poor start to an abrupt halt.

"It's been a tough start to the season just because we haven't taken our opportunities.I have no fear of any team in this league and we can go down and get the win against Limerick," said McCotter.

"Our American Shawn Vanzant has shown us what he can do, he's going to be great for us this season. We knew we needed a point guard and he has played at the highest level in college basketball in the States."

The Ulster Rockets return to action and they will expect to win on the road tomorrow night when they face Marble City Hawks in Kilkenny.
