Ahead of Saturday's hotly anticipated card at Belfast's SSE Arena, some of the top fighters competing at Brave 13 will be taking part in a public workout at St Anne's Square today.

Local fighters such as Stormin' Norman Parke, Andy Young, Glenn Irvine, Adam Byrne and Decky Dalton will be showing off their skills in the octagon before the big fight night at the weekend.

The workout, organised by fight promoters Brave Combat Federation, will begin at 4pm and run until 6pm at St Anne's Square.

Also in attendance will be the two fighters set to battle for the bantamweight title, holder Stephen Loman of the Philippines and his challenger Frans Mlambo of Ireland.

Parke's opponent on Saturday, Irishman Myles Price, will also be showcasing his abilities to the public ahead of what will be a heated rematch between the two rivals.

This is the first time Brave CF have staged a card in Europe, the federation wanting to enhance the reputation of the sport through the public workout.

Mohamed Shahid, president of Brave CF, commented: "We aim to give athletes a platform to reach out to the general public while creating awareness about various forms of martial arts and the benefit of a healthy lifestyle among the public.

"This will also create a deeper understanding about the sport of mixed martial arts among the public while providing a scope for social and cultural exchange."

Tickets for fight night are still available on either ticketmaster.ie or by calling the SSE Arena box office on 028 9073 9074.
