Taylor hits top form with Anderson in sights
Phil Taylor rolled back the years to power through to the quarter-finals of his last ever World Championship with a superb 4-0 victory over Keegan Brown.
The 57-year-old, the record 16-times champion, will take on Gary Anderson in tonight's quarter-finals in the match of the £1.8million tournament so far. Anderson, world champion in 2015 and 2016, beat Steve West 4-2.
In tonight's other blockbuster quarter-final at Alexandra Palace, defending champion Michael van Gerwen faces fellow Dutchman - and five-time champion - Raymond van Barneveld.
Jamie Lewis beat James Richardson 4-1 to set up a quarter-final against Darren Webster who eased to a 4-0 win over Spain's Toni Alcinas.
Belgium's Dimitri Van den Bergh knocked out Austria's Mensur Suljovic by the same margin.
Van den Bergh takes on Rob Cross, a 4-1 winner over Scotland's John Henderson, conqueror of Ulsterman Daryl Gurney.
