Aidan O'Brien considering Ascot targets with Clemmie and Snowflakes

Aidan O'Brien will consider a trip to Royal Ascot for the stoutly-bred Clemmie following her encouraging racecourse debut at the Curragh on Saturday.

The daughter of Galileo attracted plenty of attention prior to her introduction as she is a full-sister to this year's dual 2000 Guineas hero Churchill.

Much like her sibling did on his debut at the corresponding fixture 12 months ago, Clemmie came home strongly to finish a close third and O'Brien expects her to improve for the experience, with stablemate Snowflakes down the field after being stuck for room.

Churchill progressed from his initial effort to win the Chesham Stakes at the Royal meeting last season.

O'Brien said: "Ryan (Moore) was very happy with Clemmie. She was out the back early and I thought she was going to run badly looking at her early, but she finished very well.

"Churchill ran a race a little bit like that when he ran there on his debut.

"Ascot probably will be in the equation (for both her and Snowflakes) and that was the reason for getting them out."
