Beau looks good for Jessica Harrington

By Ron McKnight

Jessica Harrington has an excellent strike rate at Down Royal and can add to her tally this evening.

While Champion trainer Willie Mullins supplies both the favourite Moveable Asset and second favourite Fatcatinthehat in the SHS Sales & Marketing Hurdle, Bob Le Beau – with Mark Bolger aboard – can prevail for the Kildare handler.

Moveable Asset won on the flat earlier this month while Fatcatinthehat triumphed at Leopardstown in January before a trip to the Cheltenham Festival.

The Mullins duo are both rated above the Harrington horse, however Bob Le Beau could outpace rivals in a small field.

Harrington could also claim the opening Molson Coors Maiden Hurdle with Knightsone – despite making his hurdles debut – at the expense of Dayrina and Wot a Shot, the latter trained in Crossgar by Colin McBratney, while Spacious Sky should be noted in the market.

Lady Bennett looks the likely favourite in the Allied Bakeries Mares Maiden Hurdle with the Charlie Swan filly having finished third on the flat at the course recently.

It is notable that trainer John Queally sends Faustina Pius to the Maze tonight rather than Killarney where she finished third over hurdles on her penultimate start and could prove best.

Lily The Lioness and Zemario enter calculations in the Kerry Foods Maiden Hurdle having finished third and fourth respectively behind Busted Tycoon, a triple winner at the recent festival.

Lord Of Isenay, however, gets the vote for Draperstown handler Barry Potts.

In The Tayto Hurdle, Annakrista could offer the best each-way value.

Hot Prospect, Ancient Sam and Carpet Elegance appear the trio to beat here.

Carmels Boy has each-way prospects in the Pepsico Handicap Hurdle for Loughbrickland handler Neil McKnight.

Street Runner is a possible, likewise Katys Girl and Harangue, but Corr Point is just preferred to record a winner for former champion jump jockey Paul Townend.

Presenting Beara, Blueberry Hill and Intheolddays make most appeal in the Dale Farm finale.

TONIGHT'S TOP TIPS: 4.35 Knightsone; 5.05 Faustina Pius; 5.35 Lord Of Isenay; 6.05 Bob Le Beau; 6.35 Annakrista; 7.05 Corr Point; 7.35 Presenting Beara
