David Mullins is gunning for success on Railway Tommy

By Frank Brownlow

Railway Tommy will attempt to follow up his win at Down Royal's big St Patrick's Day meeting with victory in this evening's Cork feature.

Railyway Tommy won the Weatherbys Printing Handicap Hurdle last Tuesday under Barry Geraghty, who suffered a broken leg in a fall at Downpatrick's Ulster Grand National meeting on Sunday, ruling the jockey out of next month's Aintree Grand National.

David Mullins will be in the saddle this time, with the Ruby Walsh-ridden Your Busy the main threat.

Meanwhile, The New One will not defend his Aintree Hurdle title at the Grand National meeting due to a spinal issue which has ruled him out for the rest of the campaign.
