Dawn rises to Huxley challenge

Aidan O'Brien unveiled another smart Chester winner in the shape of Await The Dawn, who took the Betfair Huxley Stakes at his leisure.

The master of Ballydoyle had combined with Ryan Moore to lift Wednesday's Cheshire Oaks and this unexposed colt with a heap of fancy entries will have the team excited.

Moore sat just off Distant Memories before asking the strapping son of Giant's Causeway (8-11 favourite) for an effort in the home straight, where he pulled comfortably clear by four and a half lengths.

Paul Smith, representing the owners, said: "We're delighted and we'll probably step him up now. We'll look at Royal Ascot and something like the Hardwicke or the Prince of Wales's."
