Dynamic Allen has what it takes to hold off rivals in exciting battle

By Ron McKnight

Dynamic Allen, trained beside the course by Brian Hamilton, is taken to triumph on the second session of Downpatrick's popular two-day fixture tomorrow.

The local runner has won and finished runner-up on his last two efforts at the track.

In A Pinch has recorded a hat-trick of wins in her latest starts and along with Rain In Spain, Put The Kettle On and the Willie Mullins-trained Miss Chevious Girl are the dangers in the featured EBF Mares Hurdle.

Monition is taken to land the opening Killultagh Hurdle at the expense of Poker D'ainay and Everybreathyoutake while the locally-trained Blue Markie filled fourth in a bumper at the venue last time.

The Emmet Mullins-trained Argent Et Or can claim the Pat O'Hare Hurdle.

The selection has shown promise in both bumper starts and Brian Hayes takes the mount. Cats For Sale, Mats Hall and Wherewouldugetit pose the dangers - the last pair having already won pointers.

The Gordon Elliott-trained pair Skeaping and Rakhine State along with Edward O'Grady's Le Vagabond make most appeal in the Coors Hurdle - the most valuable race on the card.

The last named has been running on the flat with credit and is taken to score.

Selections: 1.45 Monition 2.20 Argent Et Or 2.55 Dynamic Allen 3.25 Le Vagabond 4.00 City Limits 4.35 Mighty Whitey 5.05 Caer
