John Ferguson admits he is unsure whether New Year's Eve will be better suited by the Punchestown track as he mulls a run at next week's Festival meeting.
The four-year-old went down by just a length and a quarter in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham, supplementing earlier wins at Ludlow and Market Rasen.
Ferguson, who is seeking his first Grade One success in what has been a magnificent first season, is now considering a crack at the betchronicle.com Champion INH Flat Race on Wednesday week.
"New Year's Eve has been very well since Cheltenham and he could run at Punchestown," said Ferguson.
"He ran very well at Cheltenham and I'm looking forward to him running again. He was a four-year-old running against older horses and time will tell whether or not Punchestown suits him better than Cheltenham."
