Moyglare happy with jumping foray

Dermot Weld's impressive Punchestown winner Unaccompanied will step up to Grade One level for her next start.

The filly, a first winner at the first attempt over hurdles for owners Moyglare Stud, will run in the Spring 4yo Hurdle at Leopardstown on February 6. If all goes to plan there a crack at the Triumph Hurdle is on the cards for the daughter of Danehill Dancer.

"She's a natural, she loves it. She's a big strong mare and only had a few runs on the Flat," said Stan Cosgrave, racing manager to the stud.

"Dermot thought about hurdling for her because of her size. We've had offers for her since that race.

"There's a four-year-old race at Leopardstown on February 6 for her, a Grade One. If she were to win that I'd imagine she might go on towards Cheltenham for the Triumph.

"I think it's good that we've got a couple of jumpers, it shortens the winter for you. We've also got Natural High with Dermot who's going hurdling too."
