Murphy picks up Load mount

Timmy Murphy has picked up another useful Punchestown ride for Henry de Bromhead and owner Alan Potts.

The injury to Andrew Lynch allowed Murphy the plum spare on Sizing Europe next week and he has also been booked for Loosen My Load in the Growise Champion Novice Chase.

The gelding was third in the Jewson Novices' Chase at Cheltenham and followed up with a second in the Powers Gold Cup.

"Timmy Murphy will ride Loosen My Load in the Champion Novice Chase as we try him over three miles for the first time," the trainer told

"Our initial reaction after the Jewson was that he might just benefit from a step up in trip and his second last week at Fairyhouse seemed to confirm that.

"He'll enjoy the predicted good ground conditions next week as he's a better horse on better ground. Hopefully he'll give a good account of himself and we'll learn a bit more about what his optimum trip might be."
