O'Brien trio on Lodge duty

Aidan O'Brien goes for a fifth win in the Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes with a team of three in the Group Two on Saturday.

The one-mile heat for two-year-old colts and geldings switches to Newmarket from Royal Ascot for the first time and the Ballydoyle trainer is responsible for almost half of the seven-strong field.

He saddles Champagne Stakes fourth Daddy Long Legs, the mount of Colm O'Donoghue, plus Tenth Star and Wrote, who will be ridden by William Buick and Jamie Spencer respectively.

John Dunlop saddles the promising colt Farhaan for owner Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum, while Richard Hannon's Rockinante, the Mick Channon-trained Shamrocked and Swing Alone from Gay Kelleway's stable complete the list.
