Wonder Of Wonders' part-owner Michael Tabor gave the filly his approval for Epsom after an encouraging victory in the Weatherbys Bank Cheshire Oaks.
It was the third time trainer Aidan O'Brien had landed this Chester Listed event in the last four years and his latest winner did not look the ideal candidate for this tight course, as she has a large frame but is from the family of Galileo and Sea The Stars.
Sent off the 6-5 favourite, Wonder Of Wonders had work to do to catch up the runaway Blaise Chorus but picked up handily for Ryan Moore to come two and three-quarter lengths away.
"Ryan was very happy with her, as you well should be. Why wouldn't you go for the Oaks now? That will be the next run for her unless Aidan has other ideas, and I doubt that," said Tabor.
Moore added: "She's a big, scopey filly and she travelled very well. Michael Hills had it easy on the front, but I gave her a breather down the back and when I asked her to go she lengthened really well.
"She felt like a nice filly and she stays well."
Wonder Of Wonders is biggest with totesport and Paddy Power at 10s for the Investec Oaks.
