Yal set to deliver win-win for Bath backers

By Nick Grant

Yalawin rates nap material in the Dribuild Ltd Handicap at Bath.

The Roger Charlton-trained three-year-old remains a sprinter of some promise, despite a short-priced reverse at Windsor last time out.

A lightly-raced son of Lawman, he lost little in defeat but was not as effective on the rain-softened ground as he had been when scoring from a subsequent winner on a much quicker surface at Ripon earlier last month.

His form generally has a solid look to it, even back to his debut at Newbury last year when third to Silver Bunbury Cup victor Parfait.

Conditions should be much more to his liking at Bath and he can pick up a decent prize on the way to a crack at something bigger before the year is out.

Bella Alissa returns to a happy hunting ground as she contests the Hall's Dismantling And Removal Ltd Fillies' Handicap.

Robert Cowell's charge was a no-nonsense winner here last month and should have more to offer now sent handicapping for the first time.
