Omagh CBS will play St.Michael's Enniskillen in the Danske Bank MacRory Cup final after the Tyrone school turned on the style against St.Patrick's Armagh in their replay at the Athletic Grounds last night.

The Omagh lads, coached by Kieran Donnelly, nailed five well executed goals with three of those coming in the first half as they established a 3-4 to 0-6 interval lead.

Armagh badly needed an early second half goal but it didn't come and while they did score two late penalties, Omagh CBS found the net twice again either side of those strikes.

Michael Conroy and Justin Kieran put Armagh into an early two point lead but that was as good as it got for them.

Simon Garrity got in for two clinical finishes low to each corner of the net within three minutes of each other and Omagh never looked back.

To their credit, Armagh responded with points from Conroy and Kieran and the had goal chances as well but Omagh CBS keeper Oran Grimes pulled off two excellent saves.

Full forward Mark Hayes then burst through for the first of his three goals just before half-time to give Omagh a tight grip on proceedings.

Oisin Hughes and Conroy closed the gap on the restart but then Hayes got in for his second goal and it was game over. With a minute to go Conroy converted a penalty but sixty seconds later the rampaging Hayes completed his hat trick. Conroy had the final say with another penalty in injury time but it was only academic at that stage.
