Ballymena are still just about in the Ulster Senior League title chase so victory is essential against Queen's at Eaton Park tonight (7.30pm) to put some pressure on Ballynahinch.

"It's difficult to refocus three days after playing on Saturday so we have made a number of changes after our convincing 33-12 win over Bohemians," said Ballymena Director of Rugby Pete McKenzie.

"We will have a completely new front row in Adrian Kirkpatrick, James Taggart and Brian Young.

"Theo Mulholland is away playing for the Irish Clubs' team and James Gallagher is at No 8.

"Unfortunately both our scrum-halves are injured so Timmy Small may resort to that position.

"We know we still gave a chance but a victory with a bonus point is necessary."

Queen's are awaiting fitness tests on both Stuart McIlwaine and Matthew Foster.

Johnny Craig may start in the front row but there are few changes from the team that defeated Dungannon 29-14.

Ballymena, boasting home advantage and with something still to fight for, should have the edge in this battle.
